VP Q16 is an extreme oxygenated, leaded race fuel developed for applications where maximum horsepower is the goal. It is used in high-level drag racing and other demanding motorsport.
Its octane figures are RON above 120 and MON 116, for an (R+M)/2 value of above 118. Oxygen content is 9.41%. Specific gravity is 0.7200, RVP is 5.64 psi and the stoichiometric A/F ratio is 13.33. It is leaded and yellow in colour. The combination of very high octane and high oxygen content suits high-compression and boosted engines, but it requires professional tuning for the lower stoichiometric ratio.
This listing is for a 19-litre container, a practical size for test days, smaller race programmes or carrying spare fuel to an event.
