VP Q16 REG is an extreme oxygenated, leaded race fuel for applications that demand maximum horsepower. It is a common choice in high-level drag racing and other demanding motorsport.
Its octane figures are RON above 120 and MON 116, for an (R+M)/2 value of above 118. Oxygen content is 9.41%. Specific gravity is 0.7200, RVP is 5.64 psi and the stoichiometric A/F ratio is 13.33. It is leaded and yellow in colour. High octane and high oxygen content make it suitable for high-compression and boosted engines; professional tuning is required to match the lower stoichiometric ratio.
It is supplied in a 19-litre container, convenient for single-car entries, testing or topping up during a race weekend. This fuel is intended for competition use only and is not road legal.
