VP MR12 is a highly oxygenated, leaded race fuel designed specifically for four-stroke motorcycle engines. It is aimed at improved throttle response and consistent performance under racing conditions.
VP MR12 is rated at RON 101 and MON 85, giving an (R+M)/2 rating of 93. Oxygen content is 8.73%. Specific gravity is 0.7340, RVP is 12.17 psi and the stoichiometric A/F ratio is 12.87. It is leaded and green in colour. Its high vapour pressure points to a volatile blend, so containers should be kept tightly closed, and fuelling must be richened for the lower stoichiometric ratio.
