A race fuel earns its reputation in the paddock, not on a spec sheet. These are the places VP runs in Europe right now, from MXGP factory awnings and Top Fuel dragsters to the GT and formula grids refuelled straight from the VP awning.
MXGP: four factory teams, one fuel
In MXGP, manufacturers compete on every technical input they’re allowed to touch, except fuel. VP is the official fuel of Honda HRC, and Yamaha’s factory MXGP programme, Bud Racing and TM Moto run VP as well. Four rivals sharing one input is a deliberate choice: it’s the one part of the bike nobody has to argue about.
The blend is MOTO R: unleaded, colourless, oxygenated and engineered to FIM rules, and listed on the FIM’s own certified-fuels list. Jeffrey Herlings took the 2026 MXGP world title on it in his first season with Honda, sealing it in Turkey with rounds still to run.
Drag racing: eleven thousand horsepower
Erbacher Racing, the Swiss Top Fuel team, runs VP fuel and oil. Urs Erbacher is a six-time FIA European Drag Racing Champion; his daughter Jndia now drives the car and won Top Fuel at the NitrOlympX at Hockenheim.
VP is the official fuel, oil and traction-compound partner of the Summit Racing EDRS Series, and official fuel partner of Santa Pod Raceway, Europe’s best-known drag strip, through the 2025 and 2026 seasons. In 2026 VP traction compound went down at every round of the FIA European Drag Racing Championship.

Pro Stock: the class SV-05 was built for
Pro Stock is naturally aspirated, built to a tight rulebook and decided by hundredths of a second. When the FIA moved the European class to unleaded fuel, VP developed SV-05 for it. Jimmy Ålund, a multiple FIA European Pro Stock champion, was the first to race it some fifteen years ago and helped develop the fuel. He was also among the first to run VP’s 0W-20 racing oil.
Walk the Pro Stock pits at Santa Pod or at Tierp in Sweden today and most of the cars run VP. Ålund, 2025 FIA European champion Robin Norén and long-time VP racer Michael Malmgren run VP fuel and oil, and Stefan Ernryd, winner of the 2026 season opener at Santa Pod, races in full VP colours.
Circuit: the grids we fuel in the paddock
VP Racing Fuels Europe is the Official Fuel Partner of the Winter Series for 2027: five formula weekends and the 6 Hours of Portimão, across Portugal and Spain from January to March. Every car runs the same VP fuel from the same batch. VP also supplies FIA 102 series fuel to F4 Germany for 2027, and its European team has run the refuelling zone at DTM and Porsche Carrera Cup weekends.
