Nobody wants an octane booster for its own sake. They have an engine that has started to ping on fuel it used to run fine on, or a build that needs more octane than any pump carries. Those are two different problems, and VP makes different products for them.
The same thinking runs through the rest of the shelf: a cetane improver for diesels, stabilisers for fuel that has to sit through a winter, an upper-cylinder lube for alcohol engines, injection fluids for boosted engines, and coolants that let an engine run more timing without detonating.

As published by VP Racing Fuels. One number is 10 points: 95 to 100 octane is 5 numbers. All three are light-sensitive, so keep them out of light and away from frost, and wipe spills off paint and light-coloured plastic straight away. Unopened, they keep for up to five years.
Octane boosters
Octane Booster Unleaded and Octanium Unleaded put back octane a road engine has lost and clean injectors on the way. Octanium is the strongest, for off-road and competition engines. If you are adding the maximum dose to every tank, a blended race fuel such as T4+ will do the job better.

Diesel
Cetanium raises cetane by up to 10 numbers for sharper throttle response and more power, cleans injectors and pumps, and puts back lubrication. A bottle in about 190 litres gives the full 10 numbers; in up to about 1,900 litres, up to 2. Diesel All-in-One treats and conditions everyday diesel.

Injection fluids & specialist additives
Speed Sauce is a ready-mixed 50/50 water-methanol injection fluid that controls detonation and lowers exhaust temperatures in turbo, supercharged and high-compression engines. Speed Sauce Plus is a 20/80 water-ethanol mix. M2 Upper Lube protects valves, guides and cylinder walls in methanol, E85 and nitro engines. ATF Pro is an additive for automatic transmissions. Despite the names, neither Speed Sauce is track prep, and M2 is not a fuel.

Coolant & cooling
A cooler engine resists detonation, keeps its oil strong and can take more ignition timing, so coolant is part of the tune. Start with Frosty Clean so the new coolant goes into a clean system.

Will an octane booster turn pump petrol into race fuel?
No. A booster adds a few numbers and protects against knock, which is often all an engine needs. A race fuel is blended to a published specification, from octane to oxygen content, that a scrutineer can check. If you are adding the maximum dose every time, a race fuel is the better buy.
Can I use these boosters with a catalytic converter?
Octane Booster Unleaded and Octanium Unleaded are made for engines with oxygen sensors and catalytic converters; with emission controls fitted, VP limits Octanium Unleaded to a lower dose. Octanium can be used with them only at a reduced dose. Follow the dosing on the bottle.
Can I run water-methanol injection in competition?
It depends on your series. Many classes restrict injection fluids or what may go into the intake, so check your technical regulations before you fit or fill a system.
Which coolant can I use on track?
Many circuits and championships don't allow glycol coolant, because a spill makes the surface dangerously slippery. Stay Frosty Race Ready is glycol-free and made for track use; check your series rules if you are unsure.
